What you’re buying
A reservation for Luna is a one-time purchase. You pay once, in USD, through Stripe. There is no subscription, no auto-renew, no trial that converts into a charge. When v1.0 ships, your reservation entitles you to a personal, lifetime licence for the app on every platform we support.
Until v1.0 ships, what you’ve bought is a promise: a spot in the first 100, the founders’ price locked in, a name in the credits if you want one, and access to the build-log community in the meantime.
Refunds
You can ask for a full refund at any time before v1.0 ships, for any reason or none. Email refund@luna.app with the address you used at checkout. We process refunds within three business days. There is no form to fill out, no questions to answer.
If we don’t ship a v1.0 of Luna by 31 December 2026, every reservation is refunded automatically through Stripe. You don’t need to ask, and you don’t need to do anything. The refund will appear on the same card you paid with, within ten business days of the deadline.
The licence
Once v1.0 is in your hands, you have a personal, non-commercial, non-transferable, lifetime licence to use Luna on any device you own. “Lifetime” means the lifetime of the product, not of any one platform — if we end support for an OS that Apple or Google has themselves discontinued, that’s the end of the road for that version, but the licence carries forward to every platform we do support.
You may not resell Luna, sublicence it, repackage it as part of a commercial product, or use it on behalf of an organisation that paid you to install it. If you want to deploy Luna in a workplace or with clients, write to us about a commercial licence.
What you can and can’t do
You can use Luna for any personal purpose. You can read its source once it’s public, audit its behaviour, and tell anyone you like what you found. You can recommend it to friends. You can take screenshots.
You can’t reverse-engineer the app to bypass the licence check, redistribute compiled binaries, or claim the work as your own. None of this is meant to be hostile — it’s the standard shape of a small commercial product.
Changes to these terms
If we change anything material on this page, we’ll email every founder using the address from your Stripe receipt and post the change in the build log. You’ll have 30 days to read it and decide whether you’d like a refund. Typo fixes and clarifications don’t count as material changes — only changes that affect what you’re paying for, what we’re promising, or how refunds work.
Governing law
Luna Software GbR is registered in Berlin, Germany. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any dispute that we cannot resolve by email goes to the courts of Berlin. EU consumers retain every right granted by their local consumer-protection law — nothing on this page reduces those rights.
